Dylan starts to see a different side of Reese Sr., and she starts to believe that he might have changed. Reese, too, is thrilled to have his father back in his life, and he starts to blossom under his father's care and attention.
As time goes by, Dylan starts to trust Reese Sr. again. She sees how much he has changed and how much he loves their son. She starts to believe that they can be a family again. Reese Sr. is overjoyed at the prospect of having a second chance with Dylan and Reese. He is determined to make things right and prove to Dylan that he loves her and their son.
In the end, Dylan forgives Reese Sr. and they decide to give their relationship another chance. They decide to start over and build a new life together. Dylan is happy to see Reese so excited about having a father in his life. She is grateful that Reese Sr. has returned and that they have a chance at being a family again. Reese Sr. is happy to be back with his son and the woman he loves.
