You’ve been a runner all your life
If you’ve chosen this Blink, you already understand an important truth:
Running is fun.
Maybe you don’t believe this right now. Running is hard! And exhausting! And not for me! But if that’s what you think, it’s only because you’ve forgotten about all the fun. As a kid, you knew the truth. You lived it. Think about it: didn’t you zoom around the house or garden? How often did your parents have to tell you not to run? They were trying really hard to take all the fun out of it. Don’t let them have the last word.
Deep down, you’re still the runner you were as a kid. No matter your current fitness level, you have at least one more run in you. Even if you haven’t run for a long time. Even if that run is very slow and very short.
So why not take it right now? It might lead to the next one.
In fact, this is what your first run should be all about: getting you to your next run. The key is to make your first run as fun, exciting, and easy as you possibly can. Take a friend. Take your dog. Get ice cream afterwards. Try running toward the things you love rather than away from things you dislike.
Suddenly, you’ll remember how fun running can be. You’ll find yourself making plans for your next run. What will it be? A run on the beach? An interval run? Some hill sprints? The more diverse you make your training, the more fun you’ll have with it.
But don’t get carried away. For your first run, follow this important rule: stop running before you want to stop running. Think you can go a little further? A little faster? A little harder? Don’t. Stop running and congratulate yourself: you’re a runner! You always have been.

Great app. Good selection of book summaries you can read or listen to while commuting. Instead of scrolling through your social media news feed, this is a much better way to spend your spare time in my opinion.

It's highly addictive to get core insights on personally relevant topics without repetition or triviality. Added to that the apps ability to suggest kindred interests opens up a foundation of knowledge.
