The Dark Times
Voldemort’s tyranny brings on dark times. The wizarding world is stripped of its freedom, and safety becomes an illusion. They are eventually captured by Snatchers and taken to Malfoy Manor, where they escape with the help of Dobby the house-elf, who dies in the process. After escaping, they find another Horcrux and destroy it, severely weakening Voldemort.
Meanwhile, Snape, now the headmaster of Hogwarts, sends a crucial message to Harry, confirming his position in Dumbledore’s orchestrated plans and hinting at the final Horcrux. In an emotional rollercoaster of events, Harry and his friends find and destroy the final Horcrux, causing Voldemort's downfall to be only a matter of time.
The Battle of Hogwarts
The stage is set for the final showdown at Hogwarts. It develops into a full-fledged Battle as Voldemort, lacking nemesis to his immortality, launches an attack on the school. Innocents, friends, and allies fall as the war intensifies. The loss of stalwarts like Fred Weasley and Remus Lupin is deeply felt. The battle is brutal, testing everyone's courage, but it also brings forth several unsung heroes whose bravery shines through.
In the end, Harry learns he himself is the final Horcrux. In a stunning act of bravery, Harry goes to Voldemort, prepared to die. He is struck by the killing curse but survives, owing to his unique connection with Voldemort. He wakes up, ready to fight to the finish.
Final Revelation and Crescent Victory
Rowling unfolds Snape’s memories, showing his undying love for Harry’s mother, Lily, and his hidden allegiance to Dumbledore. The revelation about Snape’s double-crossing vindicates him and adds depth to his character. A repentant Draco Malfoy's change of heart is also shown. It becomes evident that love, forgiveness, and loyalty, values that Voldemort failed to understand, prove his downfall.
