He returns to Hogwarts with the devastating news of Voldemort's return, but the Ministry of Magic refuses to believe him, instead launching a smear campaign against him.

The Aftermath and the Truth Revealed

As the school year ends, Harry mourns Cedric's death and grapples with the reality of Voldemort's return. He learns that the Goblet of Fire was manipulated to ensure his participation in the tournament, and that the person responsible for his name being entered was none other than Barty Crouch Jr., disguised as Mad-Eye Moody, the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher.

In the final chapters, Harry and his friends uncover the truth about Crouch Jr. and his involvement in the tournament's dangerous events. They also realize that the return of Voldemort poses a serious threat to the wizarding world. The book ends with Dumbledore warning Harry that the fight against Voldemort is far from over, setting the stage for the next installment in the series.
