Unintentional Involvement

In Accidental Witness by Sam Mariano, we are introduced to Vince Morelli, a member of a notorious Chicago crime family. The protagonist, who remains unnamed throughout the book, inadvertently witnesses Vince committing a murder. Fearing for her life, she keeps the incident to herself.
