In 1988, Linda exchanged vows with Tom Bleecker, a union that lasted until 1990. Later, in 1991, she tied the knot with the stockbroker  Bruce Cadwell, and they established their home in Rancho Mirage, California.

The tragic passing of her son Brandon took place on March 31, 1993, during the filming of The Crow, in an unexpected accident involving a prop gun. 

Despite the adversities, Linda dedicated herself to advancing Bruce Lee’s martial arts technique, Jeet Kune Do. Upon returning from active work in 2001, she passed on the baton to her daughter, Shannon, and son-in-law, Ian Keasler.

They now manage the Bruce Lee Foundation, a nonprofit entity committed to imparting Bruce Lee’s profound martial arts teachings and philosophical writings.

The Tragedy of Brandon Lee 

Brandon Bruce Lee, born on February 1, 1965, was an American actor and martial artist famously recognized as the son of esteemed martial arts actor Bruce Lee. Raised in a family deeply rooted in arts and culture, Brandon was exposed to acting and martial arts early in life.

He made several appearances as a child in his father’s movies, fuelling his career, which officially began at 21. Despite the significant shadow cast by his father’s vast accomplishments, Brandon demonstrated his own star potential through roles in films like “Kung Fu: The Movie” and “Showdown in Little Tokyo”. 

In 1991, Brandon secured his breakthrough role in the action film, “Rapid Fire”, which positioned him as a rising star. His likable charisma and evident talent led him to his most notable and final role in “The Crow”.

Displaying notable talent, he was able to infuse a personal touch to his father’s legacy. His charisma, combined with his action prowess gained global acclaim, leading to a promising future in Hollywood.
