Blinkist Narrators: The Voices Behind Your Blinks

You've heard them on countless Blinks, maybe first thing in the morning or last thing at night, maybe on a long drive or a subway journey into the office. The vast majority of Blinkist's audio content is narrated by our team of professional voice artists and actors, real people who bring each Blink to life with their own delivery and personality. They're the voices that have walked you through ideas, arguments, and stories you might never have otherwise come across. Here, finally, are the faces to go with the voices.

Amanda Mahr

Why hello! Amanda here and I've had the absolute pleasure of being one of the founding narrators for Blinkist since 2014. Originally from New York State, I'm now based in both London and Berlin. I have a background in theatre and improv, and I'll confess I'm pleased to have found a gig I can (oftentimes) perform in my daytime pajamas (sweatpants). Other work includes playing the lead, Barb, in the recently released indie game Yerba Buena, Captain Marvel in the fitness app Marvel Move, as well as my latest audiobook narration for Searoad by Ursula K. Sion Dayson

Sion Dayson is an American voice actor and narrator based in Valencia, Spain. Known for her warm, engaging delivery and thoughtful approach to nonfiction, she’s been a regular Blinkist narrator for 5+ years. As a full-time voiceover artist, Sion has voiced projects for clients including LG, Iberian Media, and Pearson. She’s also the monthly presenter of Business Spotlight, Germany’s leading magazine for English-language learners. Sion’s audio description work includes “Sound of Falling” (Jury Prize, Cannes 2025) and two seasons of “The Smurfs.” She also voiced “Immersion,” a groundbreaking mixed-reality experience at the Oceanographic in Valencia, Europe’s largest aquarium.

Sion is a 2026 One Voice Awards nominee for best performance in the factual audiobook category. She holds an MFA in Writing from Vermont College of Fine Arts and is the author of the award-winning novel “As a River.” Explore more of Sion's work at siondayson.com

Ronaldo Sellers

Ronaldo Sellers is a US-based voice actor, narrator, and audio engineer with more than 20 years of performance experience spanning theater, broadcast, and branded media. He brings a warm, grounded baritone and a genuine love of ideas to every listen. A Blinkist narrator since 2023, Ronaldo voices and engineers his own audio, shaping each blink into the most intentional, broadcast-quality experience he can deliver. Beyond the booth, he serves on the board of his local chapter of the American Advertising Federation, a US advertising industry association, and recently completed the Baltimore Planning Academy, a city program on urban planning and community development, a reflection of his deep interest in cities, community, and the way ideas shape the places we live. Whether he is narrating a book or producing original media, Ronaldo is always chasing the same thing: the story worth telling in whatever room he walks into.

Julia Webster

Hi! I’m Julia. When I’m not narrating Blinks, I’m working in a newsroom in London. Usually on podcasts. Reading Blinks is one of the highlights of my job because I truly feel I’m adding something good to the heaps of negativity out there. Be it titles like Mind Your Body by Nicole Sachs or The Ambition Penalty by Stephanie O’Connell, I love knowing my voice could be carrying some assurance or solution to someone’s day.

Cherie B. Tay

Cherie B. Tay (she/they) is a Broadway Stage Manager, Voice Actor, and Creator.10 Broadway shows and a One Voice VO Award later, Cherie is enjoying the little pleasures in life and finding joy, creativity, and community all around. Aryan Stanley

Aryan has been doing voice over since he was around 5 years old, creating stories about super heroes and space travellers through the medium of sound on an old cassette recorder! In more recent years, he has narrated over 300 audiobooks for Blinkist, bringing ideas to life with his natural RP British accent. His favourite Blinks often explore philosophy and history (for example, Kant's Critique of Pure Reason). Outside the booth, he holds a PhD in cancer research and works as a medical writer and science communicator. Per his background, he specialises in medical and science narration, but he also has a soft spot for animation and video game characters, and is always ready to lend his voice to an eccentric inventor, weary hero, or dastardly villain!"

Marston York

With a Business Administration, theatre, TV and Film background, Marston has created and managed a variety of business ventures and works as a voice artist and audiobook narrator across a wide variety of genres from video games and animation to documentaries, crime thrillers and historical fiction. He has a passionate interest in how to use voice from character and accent work to narration, drama and presentation. As a voice coach, Marston supports clients to use their voices in their most authentic and productive way; working on accents and vocal strength, building confidence and staying healthy from performance to personal health. Marston is also a life coach and reiki master with a passion for mental health support (He was the “happy guy” in the Norwich City Football Club mental health video in 2023/4 which has over 750 million views worldwide) and supports wellbeing at festivals around the UK providing Reiki tasters and a chance to talk. He has worked with Blinkist for quite some time and is always excited and engaged by the variety of content, from the esoteric and holistic to the business and finance specific. It is a real pleasure to narrate these expertly crafted Blinks and on more than one occasion, he’s gone and bought the book in full! Thomas Florio  

Thomas Florio is an American-German narrator, voice actor, opera singer, and coach. He has narrated over 200 titles for Blinkist, and sung with the Hamburg State Opera, Bavarian State Opera, Deutsche Oper Berlin, and more. He wrote the libretto for, and sang the world premiere performance of, Farmer George (music by Osmo Tapio Räihälä) at the 2025 Bregenzer Festspiele in Austria. In 2024, he sang Peter Maxwell Davies' Eight Songs for a Mad King in a solo concert at the Louvre, with Klaus Mäkelä conducting. Karen Cass

Karen is an experienced voice artist and actor who trained at LAMDA after completing a Modern Languages degree at Cambridge. She subsequently honed her acting skills in UK repertory theatres. Her TV and film work includes Eastenders, Birds of a Feather and Meatpuppet and as well as recording a huge catalogue of audiobooks (including the Josephine Tey collection, Jessie Keane’s thrillers and Heidi Swain’s romances) and voice-overs such as the Wimbledon Museum audio guide and Roger Federer’s AELTC retirement tribute, she has voiced characters for major video games, such as Divinity: Original Sin II and Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire. Karen is also a highly accomplished tennis player representing GB and her clubs both home and abroad.
